Terms & Conditions

Corporate Gift Pens is a Division of Acclaim Products, Inc.

 

Pricing
Acclaim Products, Inc. and there divisions reserve the right to change pricing at any time as needed. 
All sales of decorated, customized or personalized products are final.

 

Production Time
All production times start upon receipt of the final approval of art proofs from the customer (in writing by fax or email) and do not include shipping time.

  • Die Struck Emblems require an absolute minimum of 10 working days to produce from an existing die.  If a new die is being cut, please allow a total of 12 working days from art approval.
  • Silk Screen Emblems require an absolute minimum of 6 working days to produce from an existing die.  If a new die is being cut, please allow a total of 8 working days from art approval.
  • Inventory Program for Faster Delivery-to reduce production time, you may have emblem produced (which must be paid for in advance) and held on the shelf at CROSS for use on 12 piece releases.  Production of die struck units using inventoried emblems can be shipped is as few as 8 working days and as few as 6 working days if silk screened.
  • Template Engraving require 6 working days to produce from a new or existing template.
  • Imprinting requires 6 working days to produce.
  • Standard Engraving requires 3 working days to produce.  Orders with Standard Engraving will only be scheduled when all engraving instructions and/or names are received.

 

Shipping
Shipping charges are calculated by our shopping cart system.  All shipments are F.O.B. Lincoln, RI.  If your order is time sensitive, be sure to supply the correct shipping address and to specify the absolute in hand date and time of day.  When minimum shipping times are allowed, we reserve the right to ship by and charge accordingly for an appropriate expedited shipping mode to meet your requirements.

 

Open Account
Open Account privileges are available only to qualified accounts.  Terms for established accounts are Net 10 days from shipping date, all other orders require payment in advance via Check or Credit Card.  To apply for open account, please fill out a credit application which can be emailed, faxed, or entered online using the previous link. 

 

Pre-Paid Orders
Orders paid in advance by check will receive a cash discount of 2%  Check must clear before shipment.

 

 

Setup Charges

  • Die Struck emblems which fit standard shapes (see Emblem Information) will incur a one time setup charge of $237.00.  Custom shapes will incur a setup charge of $432.00.  Designs requiring modeled 3D detail will be custom quoted upon request.
  • Silk Screen emblems which fit standard shapes (see Emblem Information) will incur a one time setup charge of $148.00.  Custom shapes will incur a setup charge of $343.00.

 

 

Warranty Information

All Cross writing instruments come with a Lifetime mechanical warranty.  If your pen ceases to function mechanically, please return it to: Cross Co. Attn: Repairs Dept., 1 Albion Rd., Lincoln, RI 02865.  Include in the package with the pen and a letter explaining the problem and the return address.  If you have any questions please contact us by email or by phone at 1-866-448-0191.

 

Inventory Program

To reduce production time and minimum quantity on future orders, you have have additional emblems run an stored at Cross awaiting releases of as few as 12 units.  When ordering clip emblems on pens we can make additional emblems in multiples of 12 or more to be used at a later date.  If they are die struck, emblems may be stored at Cross unfinished so that they can be finished to match the pen that you select in the future.  Silk Screen emblems must be finished before placing in inventory.  With emblems in inventory, when you are ready to re-order more pens, you may release as few as 12 or more units at a time avoiding the less than minimum charge.  By using the inventory program you save one to two days of production time can release orders with a 12 piece minimum instead of the normal 24 piece minimum.

 

Drop Shipments

Orders may be split between two shipping addresses at no additional charge.  Three or more addresses will be subject to a $20.00 fee, per order.

 

Minimums

Any order quantity with fails to meet the minimum indicated below for decorated products will incur a $100.00 less than minimum charge. Various Pen styles and finishes may be combined to meet minimum order quantities as long as the decoration is the same. 

  • Die struck emblems require a minimum of 24 units unless an inventory program is created reducing the minimum to only12 units, once emblems are on the shelf.
  • Silk screen emblems require a minimum of 24 units unless an inventory program is created reducing the minimum to only12 units, once emblems are on the shelf.
  • Template engraved pens require a minimum or 12 units.
  • Imprinted pens require a minimum of 24 units.
  • Debossing on Leather items requires a minimum of 24 units
  • Standard engraved pens have no minimum.
  • Blank pens have no minimum.

 

Returns

All sales of decorated or engraved products are final.  Any blank products to be returned require prior authorization and are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

 

Art Files

Any decoration which includes a company logo will require artwork to be sent electronically in the following file types for PC.

  • Adobe Illustrator CS3 or lower (.eps or .ai)
  • Corel Draw X3 or lower (.cdr)
  • Any artwork not available in vector format (in the above file types) will require the recreation of the logo in vector format at a charge of $50 per hour.

Additional Color Charges

  • Die Struck emblems include up to 2 colors in our pricing.  Any additional color(s) are $0.49 each.
  • Silk Screen emblems include up to 3 colors in our pricing.    Any additional color(s) are $0.49 each.
  • Imprints include 1 color in our pricing. Each additional color(s) are $0.49 each.
